An anaesthetic is used to numb the treated areas, helping prevent any pain or discomfort during the procedure.
The treatment stimulates regeneration for clear, healthy and firm skin, ideal for evening pigmentation, treating wrinkles and tightening sagging areas. It also helps to sterilise acne bacteria to reduce signs of acne, and improve the appearance of past scarring. Results usually appear in a matter of weeks and last long-term.
Swelling is to be expected after the procedure, and small, brown scabs may form at the treated areas. These pass over time.
Your skin may be more sensitive after treatment. As with most of our treatments, Jackie suggests daily skincare, and avoiding exercise, alcohol and heat treatments for a period afterwards.
