Anti-wrinkle injections help to smooth, refine and rejuvenate the appearance. Our treatment can be used on several areas of the face, including around the eyes, across the forehead and between the brows. Results usually last around 6 months, though this can vary.
The injections work to block chemical signals between the nerves and the muscles, which cause wrinkles to form. This reduces movement, creating a more relaxed, refreshed appearance. The procedure can both treat existing wrinkles and help prevent new ones from forming.

No, the experience isn’t expected to cause any pain and a numbing agent can be used to prevent any discomfort.
Many patients see results within 2 weeks of treatment, which can last as long as 6 months. Jackie favours a natural appearance which still allows for movement, so while you will appear refreshed, others may not be able to tell you’ve had treatment.
Any injectable treatment comes with a risk of swelling, tenderness and bruising or redness. Over-the-counter pain relief and ice packs can usually offset these side-effects. More serious side-effects and risks are extremely rare.
Part of Jackie’s commitment to patient care is to provide full aftercare advice. Not only will this help to care for your skin following treatment, but it could also elevate your results. We recommend avoiding heat treatments (such as the spa), heavy exercise and drinking alcohol after treatment.
It depends what you’re aiming to treat. During your consultation, and before any treatments, Jackie will always outline your options. However, many patients who are treated for lines and wrinkles may have anti-wrinkle injections alongside other injectables, such as dermal fillers.
